Hi. So, I'm the sucker who said they'd organize the fourth of
July thing-a-ma-bob. I currently have abbe (abbe), cordelia (Andy), and
jefreypu (Jeff) as first strike, with cshiley (Courtney) coming later and
bringing more stuff.
This is the general plan:
A mob (I hope) of people show up REALLY EARLY at the student center
to collect blankets, food that's already there, stakes, and ropes, loads
all that stuff onto APO (and LSC?)'s carts, and goes across the Charles
to the Esplinade where they stake out a big clump of space of us.
Other come later, bringing food for those who came early, and for
themselves to enjoy for the whole day. Don't forget cards, books, shades,
and SUNSCREEN!!!! :) Joy, frivalty, and laziness continue into the day,
and eventually it gets dark, the Pops play a concert, and the fireworks
begin.
So, you want to come, right? And you want to come early!! So let me
know, and I'll keep track of you, and maybe give you more instructions. :)
