May Blood Drive at MIT canceled, donate at a drive near you

Hello,
Unfortunately, if somewhat unsurprisingly, the Blood Drive planned for
next week at MIT has been canceled, as a result of COVID-19.
There is still a need for blood donations, and many of you are away
from campus at the moment anyway (as am I). Therefore, we are
recommending that you make an appointment to donate blood wherever you
are right now. If you wish to do so through our usual partner, the
American Red Cross, you can do so at
https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/find-drive
Additionally, some hospitals run their own donation programs which may
be more convenient for some people.
If you have had and recovered from COVID-19 and are interested in
donating plasma to help other COVID-19 victims, you can find more
information on that at
