Hi Everyone,
First I would like to thank everyone for all of the passionate responses th=
at have occurred over the last week as we all process my announcement of th=
e soon to be conclusion of the AX chapter. The actives have received amazin=
g amounts of support and I would like to thank you personally for that. I w=
ould also like to apologize if I do not respond to anyone, it isn't that I =
don't want to, it is that there are so many emails and email chains right n=
ow that I am just trying to keep up and extract the emails with mission cri=
tical information. There are a few things I want to address right now:
First, please DO NOT USE the mailing lists to start reply all email chains,=
those list should only be used by me or people I have asked to email on my=
behalf. I meant to Bcc them, but I messed up while emailing them.
Second, several people have asked me about the letter press. Len Tower is i=
n charge of that project, it is being handled. Len if you would like any he=
lp or resources you can use these lists to solicit for them if you deem it =
appropriate.
Thrid, a number of people have begun a conversation on reforming the chapte=
r or in APO lingo re-chartering. While I appreciate the spirit behind this =
effort, I and the other actives believe it is premature given the immediate=
needs of the chapter. In a few months' time, I will put anyone who is inte=
rested in contact with the region 1 extension coordinator (should they deem=
it appropriate) in order to begin that effort in earnest.
Fourth, I am aware of and dealing with the Tech interview request. I will p=
oint out that the tech is an undergraduate newspaper and does not reflect a=
wider knowledge of the institution.
