Minutes for Execcomm Meeting, Feb 14, 1996

Meeting called to order 7:37 P.M.OB
Present: Harry, Cathy, Michael, Emily, Alexis, Ingrid, Oscar, Junko,
Charlie, Kevin, Ari, Lan
Officer Reports:
SVP- Junko: Project Saturday at Pine Street Inn
MVP- Cathy: Study break after Execcomm, Pledge Induction coming
up, PTRM coming up
AVP- Ari: WUAPO, lists are out
Treasurer- Alexis: Fincomm is meeting and will have reccomendations
APOCed- Michael: The APOC is out, does anyone want to help distribute?
ASC-Lan: Coffee table will be cleared off every Friday at 5
PubDir- Oscar: There's a new sign outside the office and more to come
Fellowship- Emily: I'll be meeting one on one with new brothers and
inactives
60th:
Yale: We need a check for the mailing
Alexis: No bank account yet for 60th
Old Business: None
New Bussiness:
Chapter Skills:
-Suggestion to add tools, leadership, first aid
-Questions as to who can teach
-Names proposed for first aid: Matt, Charlie, Richard,Jen'n
-Questions as to how long they Bwould take
-Cathy reccomends Chapter Skills Chair
-Other suggestions: Computer Skills, leadership
-General consensus on some sort of tools shpiel
-We're running out of journeymen for the press
-Cathy to find out about CPR/first aid- how long?
Will the med-center do it? Can we open it
to the institute community?
Misc:
Yale: The high school I work with has a service group-
should I contact them about working with us?
Consensus: Yes
Fellowship Activity: Emily questioned those present
Why did you get involved?
General answers: Fun group of people, nagging, advertising, scouts,
service, friends
What were your initial feelings?
General Answers: Fitting in, feeling useful, weirdness and
power tools
