The chapter meeting of Feb 6 was adjurned until Feb 13. The minutes
therefore won't be published until the meeting is finished. At
the request of the brothers in attendance though, I am forwarding
this summary of bussiness conducted so far:
Officer Reports:
SVP: Coming up- Welmet Project (Feb 10), Sojourner House (Feb 17),
Pine St (Feb 24)
MVP: Open Meeting (Feb 7), Pledge Ceremonies (Feb 21,22), looking
for big brothers, advocates
Fellowship: Envelope Stuffing (Feb 6),
Valentine's Study Break (Feb 14), Movie Marathon (Mar 9), SFF, Friday
night dinner trips
AVP,Treasurer,ASC,Historian, PubDir: Bussiness as usual (plus
an inordinate mention of the word 'receipt')
ApocEd: Apoc will be ready in next few days ("We'll have a centerfold
calendar")
Advisory: Jim at Resolute (and perhaps wife) wants to be advisor
Committees:
Servcomm: We met
FinComm: We need one since Reg day going away
MemComm: We don't need one
Nomcomm: We need one
60th: Need various PCs, talk to Harry
Book X-change: Still need some signups
Old Business:
Brotherhood policy, pledge requirements, and pledge voting mechanic
approved with minor changes
New Business:
Elections: Tabled
60th budget: $2500 approved, motion to approve $2000 postponed till
March 19th
Pledge Class NameSake: discussion began. Not finished. Lori Tsuruda
proposed
Announcements and PFTGOTO taken out of sequence
