I've heard (and read) rumors that Afterfinals is happening next
weekend at Camp Resolute. There is as of yet no signup sheet in the
office, nor any real data available. Who is the PC? Who are the
sub-PCs? (And all of the questions that would normally be addressed to
the PCs are also unanswered.) Now, where students aren't due back here
until Monday the lack of information may not seem a pressing concern.
But alumni generally operate with more a longer plan ahead interval than
students do - and the chapter relies on them/us to a large extent for
transportation. I am very close to committing to be out of state during
the weekend scheduled for Afterfinals, as a bird in the hand is better
than two in the bush.
Hopefully, whoever is around first and knows anything about
Afterfinals will get the ball rolling. And if there are unfilled PCships
and sub-PCships out there, if this becomes generally known the handful of
brothers around campus might even start doing something about the
situation. Meanwhile, I'll keep myself busy writing Apoc articles,
plotting, and cleaning things up around the office.
