the leadership workshop for the chapter will be running the 20th of
january at MIT. i need to schedule room(s) et, but that'll be taked care of if
i have to kidnap a few i have access to.

	currently scheduled:

	Yale's Leadership Seminar
		- what is a leader anyhow?
		- fundamentals of leadership
		- why to lead
		- how to motivate members
		- how to be an effective leader

Alexis's "How to PC Book Exchange or Start a Library in 10 Easy Steps"
		- ever wondered how book exchange is run? come find out for
yourself and help plan the one for spring term.

Kate on "some project or something"
		- come work with kate on organizing another project for the
		  term. Project TBA.

	<Your project practicum here>
		- an interactive how-to-PC-joe-random-project session in
which the attendees plan for an actual upcoming project.

Clearly this isn't enough to occupy the chapter's attention for a whole
day, so I need more volunteers to lead project sessions and give leadership
talks. For those who are concerned that i'm trying to fid a new way around
LDW's, you need not worry. For the proposed chapter skill "leadership",
people would be expected to attend either the chapter seminar, or an LDW, or
something APO-related of the Leadership persuasion. Thus, being an officer/
PC would be practicing a chapter skill. Enough on that subject...Cathy's MVP
and the leadership skill is her baby.

So, if you want to volunteer to run an event, let me know. i'll try to
schedule you in [so many volunteers, so little time =) ] and i'll let you know
what time to be ready and where to go as soon as i know.

	YiLFS,

	Charley Hamilton
	Prez-elect, S'96
