(1) One-hour SEMINAR ON THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF MIT
8:00-9:00 pm on Wednesday, 11/29/95 in room 1-190
			Open to the public --
Come and find out who's REALLY in charge of different things at MIT....

(2) Can you help judge a DEBATE TOURNAMENT this weekend at MIT?
You do NOT need a lot of prior debate experience!

Schools from as far away as Chicago and Canada are coming to MIT this Friday and
Saturday (12/1-12/2) to engage in verbal warfare, and we need some innocent
bystanders to judge which teams are the most convincing speakers in each round
of debate. These debates are very impromptu, covering all sorts of material,
and they are usually a lot of fun!

Most people cannot stay for the whole thing; we'd really appreciate it if you
can just judge two or three rounds! There will be five rounds of debate: three
on Friday afternoon and evening, and two on Sunday morning and afternoon (see
schedule below). To be safe, each round should be considered to be about a
two-hour commitment; actual debating time is only 40 minutes. The team will feed
you if you are willing to help judge this weekend; if you might be interested,
please e-mail *** delacey@athena *** as soon as possible!
