Sign up to work UMOC booth hours!
We really need at least two people for every time slot; the more the
uglier, uh, I mean merrier. There is a Booth Schedule on the Service
Board (y'know, the green felt board in the office). Please sign up
early and sign up often!
ALSO, *on the back of the Booth Schedule* is a sign-up sheet for
erecting and razing the Dexion. The Dexion is the enormous
erector-set-like structure that surrounds our glorious Booth. Hey,
look, both construction and destruction projects, yay! But *please*
sign up for helping with the Dexion because I really don't want to do
it by myself. You do not even need ever to have played with erector
sets before; in a shameless attempt to play safety chair, I will teach
everyone who comes how to build a Dexion safely and with structural
integrity. Come see a mad mechanical engineer in action! Come
witness death-defying (or not) stress/strain analysis! Just come!
ALSO, there are *posters* in every fluorescent neon hue of the rainbow
which need to be seen by all ugly dudes and friends on and off campus.
These eye-straining posters are sitting under the message board just
to the right of the door as you enter the office. Steal them and
poster them all over your living group. Grab some and poster them
around campus (on Friday morning and at other good times).
Remember, UMOC is next week!!! Start thinking ugly thoughts now!
