Brothers,
I received on APO-L (the national email list) a listing of all of
the legislation thus far proposed for consideration at the National
convention, sorted by the Reference committee that will be dealing with
it. This list has been placed in my account, in the file

    /afs/athena.mit.edu/user/r/e/redskin/APO/Legislation/by_committee

After each proposal the page(s) on which it is printed are listed, to
aid you in getting the full text of the motion. The full packet is on
the red bulletin board in the office, please read it and comment on it.
This listing is of use in finding out what sorts of proposals exist, and
which committees at Nationals will be dealing with them.

Why you need to know which committees will be dealing is so that
you can present (for or against) a proposal you care about. Jen'n and I
have already submitted our requests to serve on reference committees,
and will probably be busy while committees are meeting. So if you want
a point raised in committee, plan on at least sending that argument to
the committee in writing if you can't go yourself. Jen'n and I will do
our best if an issue comes to the floor, but committee is the first
step, and I suspect it will be easier to influence outcomes there.

		YiLFS,
		  Glenn
