People project, yay!
Who: About 8 brothers/pledges
What: Playing with children (probably 12- to 18-yr-olds)
Where: Shriner's Hospital, burn unit
When: Saturday, 30 September 1995
Either 9:30-11:30am or 2-4:30pm TBA later.
Why: Because.
How: To be decided.
Here are some possibilities for what we could do:
Have an ice cream party. Yum.
Have a games tournamant (they have board games, air hockey).
Have some sort of athletic tourney:
basketball,
balloon volleyball,
wheelchair relays.
Read books.
Send me email if you have any suggestions!
We could manage several activities, and should have backup plans
for what to do if the kids get bored.
We could go in the morning or the afternoon. I am currently
favoring the morning (so people can do Chapter Skills Weekend
things in the afternoon), but send me email if you have a strong
preference for the afternoon.
Please sign-up on the sign-up sheet on the service board in the
office. I'd like to have no more than 10 people coming, but
please sign up if you are even slightly interested! It is awful
to have 10 people *interested if there is room* but who leave an
empty sign-up sheet.
