Dear Chapter,
I will be reporting on the progress of the Rules Committee tonight, but I
wanted to also let you know in writing where you can find more information.
Tonight after the Chapter Meeting, the Executive Committee will be
considering a large batch of amendments to the Chapter Bylaws (in accordance
with Article X sections 1 and 4 of said bylaws.) You are welcome to attend,
and whether you do or not, you are welcome to read these amendments
yourself. They are in the APO locker at
/apo/AdHoc_Committees/Rules/Amendments/RulesComm2009/AmendmentsS11.pdf. If
you do not know how to access the locker, email me and I'll send you a
copy. Additional edits may occur as a result of the Exec meeting. In
accordance with amendment procedure, the amendments will be discussed at a
Chapter meeting (expect this on 4/11 and possibly as early as 3/28.) Two
weeks after an amendment has been discussed and entered into the minutes,
voting will take place.
