Well, it looks like there's a good chance I will be dragged along in
the first strike wave.  A few more details most of which I've heard
previous years.

NOTE: I'm guessing that we may be short on blankets/tarps this year,
so if you have one you're willing to loan you should get it to the
first strike wave as they are *very useful* for staking out space.

Bring water, bring lots of water.  (Remember caffiene requires water
for your body to process, so you probably want non-caffinated things)

Bring food (we're going to be there a while).  It has also been
considered polite to bring some food for the first strike wave since
they saved a place for you, and they generally have their hands full
with tarps blankets and water for themselves.

Bring sunblock, especially if you tend to burn

Bring things to do (books cards, etc)

If you know where "the tree" is that's great, you shouldn't have any
trouble finding it.  However, since the first strike wave is unsure of
where said tree is they plan to set up roughly as close to the barges
as possible while still being on the esplinade.

Matt: You should fix your Q-beam!
