Hello brothers,
For those who haven't heard, this semester I'm organizing a project to
collect a bunch of stuff
to send over in carepackages to the troops in Afghanistan.
Why?
- The summer is fighting season for the Taliban.
- This is the last summer before they start coming home, so its going to be
stressful on all the units deployed.
- It's hot, boring, and
fine-powdery-dust-that-gets-everywhere-oh-my-god-I-just-cleaned-that-outy
over there.
We should do what we can to help make it suck less.
- yo, I heard you like service, so I figured out a way we can do service to
the nation so we can serve those who serve.
What are we actually doing?
Setting out boxes in dorms, living groups, and offices, Putting
up propaganda and collecting items from people in the dorms.
also incidentally helping them get rid of stuff they don't want and we can
put to goodwill if it can't be sent to the soldiers.
When?
Up until The start of May. We can run this on a loop of collecting stuff and
shipping it out every week; Doing a run to empty a bunch of filled-up boxes
is a great way to get in random service hours.

- Boxes! We need someone to collect boxes from stores and restaurants in the
morning.
- Posters! Kkuhn is PC-ing the propaganda effort. If you have skill levels
in artistry, photoshop/graphic design,
punsmithing, you should talk to her and/or blanche yourself onto
apo-uso-publicity.
- Knowing people! We need to put a bunch of boxes everywhere!
If you have a place where you regularly sleep that is not the APO office,
or if you work in a lab, or in a staff office, or if you know someone who
does, you should add yourself to the list at the bottom of our
