Regarding our policy on adding a group...
We don't add groups to our server unless the asks to be added. No,
that is not listed in the "registering an activity" page as a policy
item, but then. if we added groups automatically, then we wouldn't
need to tell people how to register...
In Tech Talk calls and says "please put this url in for us" and that
URL happens to be in Techinfo, we will not say no, nor will we wrinkle
our noses at them.
I was not knocking Techinfo at all previously. I worded things
poorly. All I was saying is that I'd prefer html to plain text, and it
would be better if someone wrote up a good html doc and told us where
to find it (whether provided via Techinfo or not) rather that telling
us to add a link in to some old and outdated plain text entry they put
into Techinfo 50 years ago.
