make that `if you're using an older binary, then you should NOT expect
it to work'. Sorry. :-)
Recap: type=hidden wasn't supported at all until Mosaic 2.4. If
you're running Mosaic from the sipb or outland lockers, then you
should have 2.4, but if you're using a binary copied from there a
while back, it will be 2.2+patches.
