The recently deleted transactions are trash caused by an
implementation bug in the mail gateway on www.mit.edu. This bug has
been known and complain about several times already. The last time I
mentioned it to the maintainers of the server on that machine (of
which I no longer am one) I resorted to simple threats; if the members
of webmaster@mit.edu can't keep www@mit.edu from recieving this kind
of annoying garbage or tell my why, then I will make sure that that
list understands how annoying it is to recieve garbage mail.
Consider this a final warning.
