I just tried this and it barfed. For URL I typed in
http://www.mit.edu:8001/activities/os2/faq/os2faq00.html
and the cool-list.html page now has a link to
<a href="activities/os2/faq/os2faq00.html">...</a>
which, when you click on it, translates to
http://www.mit.edu:8001/cool/activities/os2/faq/os2faq00.html
Can you say "Server Error: 404 Not Found"? I knew you could.
