Hello, a new service has been added to the SIPB WWW server at:
http://www.mit.edu:8001/cool-list.html
This is meant to be a list of documents and information provided by people on
their home pages. If you are providing information of this sort, please
select 'add something to this list' at the bottom and add it.
This is meant primarily for information you are providing from your home page.
For example, the 'Star Trek Air Schedule' and 'WWW Sports Information Service'
that are on the list already are perfect examples. Listings such as the
MIT Libertarians page may be included, though generally those will eventually
be deleted from this list and kept on the list of MIT activites. If you have
an activity page you would like added to that list, send mail to webmaster@mit
(the activities page is http://www.mit.edu:8001/mit-activities.html)
So, please add pointers to any information you are providing. I would also
recommend using URLs of the form:
http://www.mit.edu:8001/people/username/...
instead of
http://www.mit.edu:8001/afs/athena/user/u/s/username...
