Our KUfacts machine supports 600-1000 Lynx logins per day with reasonable
speed. It is also used as a productional machine for academic research
work. The hardware behind the machine is a rs/6000 350 with only 32 mbytes
of RAM, so it isn't what you would call a 'heavy' machine. Lynx usage
is in general very unintensive with most processes using maybe 2% of the
processor with peaks in the teens during file transfers.
