Nothing terrifies me more than the petty bickering over HMML that is
happening here. I fled gopher+ because of its gloated featuritis, and
I worry about the same thing happening here? Will HMML become
unusable because every person and their dog is including pointless
features in the specs.

(my opinion on whitespace (or `shitespace' as my fingers tried to call
it :) is that it should be used as separators, and the quantity > 1
ignored)
