Although Microsoft should fix their internal mail system or SMTP gateway,
this problem is not present in the Microsoft Mail retail edition. From what
I have heard, it is an artifact of their mail backbone (which is not the
standard MS Mail backbone). I have sent many messages using MS Mail and
their retail SMTP gateway, and I have never propagated a redundant uuencoded
message. Let's just drop this thread now, OK?
