AuditNet Y2K Resources for Internal Auditors (Y2KRIA) provides links to
various resources associated with the year 2000. This will include audit
and audit related issues on the subject of the coming millenium and
computers.
AuditNet IUP Resources for Internal Auditors (AIUPRIA) will provide links
to various Internet Use Policies (IUPs) that internal auditors need to
make sure are being established within their organizations. This is a
frequent question posed by auditors when beginning a review of Internet
use within their organizations. It is time we provided a link to
organizations that have established policies so that we can learn from
them what we need to do to bring other organizations up to speed.
AuditNet Communications Network for Internal Auditors (ACNIA)
(http://users.aol.com/acnia/acnia.htm) has been assembled by Ron Keister
from George Mason University, and provides internal auditors a place to
openly communicate with other professionals by posting and sharing
information in the following four areas:
AuditBest - here you will find internal auditing best practices from other
auditors around the world. We encourage auditors to share what works best
for them in hope that we can all learn from each other.
AudiTrain - here you will find conferences and training seminars for
auditors based on submissions from other auditors. We encourage
professionals from IIA, ISACA, ACUA, NALGA, and other professional audit
organizations to share training information for the benefit of the audit
community at large.
AuditBooks - here you will find Internet books of interest to internal
auditors. The Internet is proving to be a valuable resource for auditors
but sometimes they need a guide to provide them with answers. This
section will include both online and offline books of interest to auditors
on the subject of the Internet. We encourage reviews and recommendations
from auditors on books and publications that have helped them in
navigating the "auditbaun".
AuditJobs - here you will find announcements and career information
specifically for internal auditors. Job postings will be accepted from
auditors and audit organization in the public and private sectors. We
will also link this site to other locations that have audit related job
postings.
This Electronic Bulletin Board type site is established in the spirit of
Progress Through Sharing and encourages the submission of information for
the benefit of sharing with the global internal audit community. The site
coordinates postings and maintains links with other relevant sites and
bulletin boards.
