Actually, no--the web transaction security working group does not
use www-security for its business, and pretty much hasn't since
Greg Bossert and Simon Cooper left Rutgers for SGI.  The current
WTS mailing list is wts-wg@postofc.corp.sgi.com. (and yes, the IETF
WTS page is hopelessly out-of-date--wrong address, and the milestones
have long since been missed.  The right address is in rfc2084.)  I
have no idea what the current charter of www-security is, or if it
even has one.

Even when www-security was the wts wg mailing list, it wasn't the
right place for SSL discussion--SSL comes under the transport layer
security working group, ietf-tls@consensus.com (web pages are at
<URL:http://www.consensus.com/ietf-tls/>).
