The IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority http://www.iana.org/)
maintains a authoritative lists of this type of Internet metadata.

  ftp://ftp.isi.edu/in-notes/iana/assignments/port-numbers

is the IANA TCP/UDP Port Numbers registry.

Also, there's an appendix in "Firewalls and Internet Security", Cheswisk
and Bellovin, Addison-Wesley, 1994 that I've found very useful (pp.
249-252), if what you're really looking for is a list of dangerous ports
and services. This book is a valuable tool if you don't own it and are
interested in/concerned about Internet-related security issues.
