I doubt that would help ... one of the recent clueless unsubscribe
requests followed a recent repeat of the unsubscribe directions. I suspect
that when one get frustrated enough they have long since stopped reading
posts.

I agree,
On the otherhand, the list software could easily handle mail whose subject
or body was solely some form of unsubscribe or perhaps adorned with
please or where 25% of the word content was unsubscribe.
In fact, I think some software does which leads people to expect it
on every list.
I've heard of some lists where every post has a brief description of how
to unscribe and where to get the list 'charter'.
