Some time back a suggestion was made that a new list be formed.
I've heard nothing more, but a possibly interesting approach to clean up
of subscriptions has occured to me ...
Perhaps with concensus of the list, we could get the list operator to
announce that all subscriptions would require renewal. Then delete
ALL subscriptions.
Everyone who wants to be on the list would have to re-subscribe and
perhaps the many folks who can't remember how to unsubscribe would
be nicely dropped and we'd all be happier.
