I think everyone's missing the point slightly.  You have world-readable
directories on your web server.  If you have information that you don't want
people to get at, either:

* Don't put it on the web server
or
* Make sure no-one without the right permissions can read it.

If your data is there, unless you've done one of the above someone *will*
find a way to read it if they want to.
