Interesting solution... There are some legitimate uses of cookies, of
course.
Another solution, noted by a previous writer, was that, if you are using
Netscape 3, one of the options in 'options/network preferences' is to
'show
an alert before accepting a cookie'
This does default to 'off', of course. This is perhaps morally dubious,
as most
people using the www are told that they are engaging in something as
private
as reading a magazine.
