Has anyone heard of the term syncytial trust? If A trusts B and B trusts C
then C has the syncytial trust of A? A useful word in the Web of Trust
Concept.

The American Heritage has syncytium as having many nucliei with unclear
cell boundries, but someone told me it is used in psychology as transitive
trust.

I understand active & passive. It refers to whether you are active in the
protocol or passive. It does not directly talk about whether you have
physical
access to the wire or not.
