 >> I recently saw a German tv-show that claimed that it is possible to hack
into someones personal computer via e-mail. <<

Guess (not having seen the show): Refers to penetrating a system through an
outdated version of Sendmail. Several systems have been penetrated through
this vulnerability, the most recent that comes to mind is the Naval
Postgraduate School in Monterey California USA. Believe the Argentine
computer sociopath, Ardita used the sendmail vulnerability.

http://www.cert.org for CA95:08 was the last sendmail advisory by the US CERT
team.
