I'm writing a thesis on the impact of network security on World
Wide Web business opportunities. This thesis will focus on both
the concerns of the end user of any WWW business (e.g. Can
the consumer guarantee that their credit card number will remain
private) and the concerns of the service provider. I am looking
for stats on what type of target audience someone would have if
they offered their product on the WWW. I would also be interested
to see if their has already been research on what types of fears
consumers have when using the WWW as a medium for purchasing goods.
If anyone has any ideas about places to look for that information
or any other sites that would have information along that line
I'd really appreciate it.
