This is a little bit confusing. {DISmey 'eq} doesn't seem to have a =
grammatical function in either sentence. {ben} is a time stamp, but =
{DIS} is simply a noun. You have also placed {ngugh} in the same place =
adverbials are placed in canon, though I always want to put them before =
the {'e'} because in any other grammatical sentence, the adverbial goes =
before the direct object instead of after it. Anyway, I think your =
sentence might be clearer if it were rearranged and changed a little:
Holvam HaDchu'taH latlhpu'. qaStaHvIS DISmey 'eq ngoDvam vISovbe'.
Otherwise it sounds like others have been perfectly studying this =
language for too many years. Or there could be other approaches:

ghIDo wa' was one of the two translators of the Klingon Hamlet. He =
joined this list when he was 16. Everybody thought he was a professor of =
linguistics because he wrote like one. We gave him a scholarship so that =
he could go off and become a professor of linguistics. We haven't heard =
from him since.
I may be misspelling the name. I remember that it violated my =
expectations for a well-formed Klingon word. May have been ghuyDo wa'. I =
tend to remember phonetically and then try to spell what I hear.
