In the OS X version, you can add new entries with the plus-sign-button at the far right edge of the bar where you select whether you are working from English to Klingon or vise versa. New entries have darkened definitions so that you can recognize the difference in the list. Right-mouse-clicking or control-clicking definitions you have added allow you to edit your entries or delete them. These options are not available for the words they have listed.
The same pop-up menu allows you to add words to the flash-card list.
