I've been contacted by a middle-man who is seeking to hire a Klingon speaker
for a company. The company doesn't want translation, rather they claim to
want someone who can review Klingon texts (described as "basically job
applications").
I tried to press for an idea of the scope of the project, but my contact
insists on
presenting this as a task that will be paid at an hourly rate.
I think this sort of thing requires someone at Grammarian level (that is,
the
certification beyond the one where you get your third pip). If that's not
you,
please disregard this message.
I've negotiated a rate of US$35 / hour. If you're interested (and you
qualify),
please email me off-list.
The first person to do so will be the person I put in touch with my contact
for
this project.
