KGT 61: at the end of the knife's handle ({ret'aq}) there is a spiked pommel, called simply {moQ} ("sphere").

  moQDaq DuQwI'Hommey jej tu'lu'
A brutally spiked pommel fastens the hilt together. (SP2)

{moQ} "sphere" also shows up in:

pach moQ High Court gavel (MKE)
  wovmoHwI' moQ light bulb (TNK)
  QujmeH moQ ball (TNK)

If a sphere is hollow one might call it a {pel'aQ} "shell (of an egg)". (I'm told that a variation of the Dyson sphere is called a Dyson shell.) Come to think of it, {pel'aQ} might also do for bubble, as in "warp (field) bubble" - *{pIvchem pel'aQ}.
