As I said in response to your recent request for "Kindness is Magic"=2C you=
must consider any appropriate context. It can be tempting to go for the li=
teral route when phrases or sentences are simple=2C but this is a textbook =
example of why literal translation should be avoided. As I heard it put onc=
e: "Words don't have translations=3B utterances do."
In the case of "Iron Man"=2C since it's a literal suit of armour that's bei=
ng referred to by the title=2C it's this one that I'd choose to render as {=
baS loD}.
In the case of "Man of Steel"=2C Superman himself is not made of steel (quS=
wIjDaq jIba')=3B it's a metaphor. Why not borrow a similar one from Klingon=
? We have the simile {HoSghaj=3B mupwI' rur} "as powerful as a hammer" from=
KGT (p.129)=2C so what about {mupwI' loD} or {mupwI' rurbogh loD}?
