...or you're adopting the customary proposal pose of kneeling before the proposee. Even if putting your victim^H^H^H^H^H^Htarget^H^H^H^H^H^Hintended above you is more figurative than literal, I think {-neS} is a perfectly valid suffix in the context of asking someone to marry you.

The equivalent formula in Klingon culture is apparently somewhat less deferent and more to the point.
