So, I'm guessing the word was {yIghomHa'}. Or, he might be informing them that the ship's chef has just marinated a fresh batch of tribbles.

Hmm... /PEE-gom-hah/ {peghomHa'!} That could very well be it as I definitely heard the vowel /ee/ as in "machine) though I wasn't sure about the consonants. I guess I give actors more credit than I should.
