Is there any reason to believe that this means "relieve (from duty)" rather=

AFAIK it's never been used anywhere. The only evidence - more like a hint =
really - is {SonchIy}. Although how {Son} would be different from {gheS} o=
r {cho'} is unknown.
Does it occur in the {paq'batlh}?
