I know what you're doing here, but have we seen =

it used to invert a sentence? I only remember it =

used to bring an object through the adverb.

I like your choice of peD. Why the hell do we use =

"rained" in that context in English? Perhaps the =

expression has carried through languages from before our ancestors knew sno=
w.

[Ah, you don't get credit for peD.]

maj. I like that parallelism.

[Is "make merry" that literal? I think it means =

more tIv or lop or chechchoH. When you translate =

it Quch'eghmoH it makes me think they needed cheering up.]

I would have chosen 'ItmoHbogh, trying to avoid =

the "is it really for the purpose of?" concern. Or just 'ItmoHlaw' nuq.

Good use of the possessive, to avoid ta' =

confusion. 'a qatlh ta' tuHmoH ta'chaj'e' 'e' luHar?

[Does the English not mean {qatlh =

nutuHmoHta'?}? Not that that makes any more sense.]

I don't know why but I love the ceremony of respect here.
