In the USA red usually means the information is important, priority, a warning.
Haven't we seen red pIqaD on tactical displays?

Sometimes the surrounding context, like background color, could certainly effect text color.  If the
background is black, then black text won't work, nor the dark red and brown that you mentioned you
like.  But a yellow or bright green could work.  The Bird of Prey poster doesn't have pIqaD, but the
Klingon words are in bright green.
