Culinary notes:

KGT 93f.:  It is also not unusual to {HaH} (marinate) or {roghmoH} (ferment) various sorts of {naH} (fruit, vegetable) ... Experienced cooks will {mIQ} (fry) the {DIghna' por} (*digna* leaf), though this is risky, since if the leaf is heated for too long, it will wilt.
