At the qep'a' in Brussels, people were talking about this (at that time
still new) word, but my english was not skilled enough to understand the
conversation, so I asked "What is gouge?" The answer was "It's {nan}".
So I had to ask again: "Thanks, and but what is {nan}?"
Just a small story :-)
