[1] - TKD 6.2.5 says that in complex sentences with {'e'}, the second
verb "never" takes {-taH}. But putting {-taH} on the first verb
changes the meaning here.
[2] - <vemwI'> 'oS mu'vam. {Sanskrit} Hol mu' 'oH, {Pali} Hol mu' 'oH je.
