I don't have any recollection of wrestling with it, either. I think
that's just what I wanted to say. Translating Facebook it comes up a
lot, but most of the time when I have a v5 conflict I just leave out
the -laH and allow the meaning to be inferred. Samlu'be' -
qatlh? nejlu'be' pagh nejlu' 'ach pagh Samlu'? loylaH vay'. Oh and
there in without any aforethought is the other way I do it. I think
I've mostly learned not to think that way when thinking in Klingon.
Kind of like in English AND Klingon we don't think "my this pet,"
without going to "Sajvam vIghajbogh" or "this pet of mine."

Huv works best. nIt tlhol and watlh more give me the idea of a blade
that had never been sharpened or never used.
