Looking at the original card (image courtesy of Klingonska -
http://klingonska.org/canon/1995-sbx-s13.html), it's hard to piece
together what exactly was dropped from the Klingon sentence. The
apparently missing word[s] do not fall on either of the two line
breaks:
qorDu' lurDechmeyna' pab tlhInganpu'. qorDu' SaHlu'chugh 'ej matlh-[newline]
lu'chugh vaj wa' tlhIngan ghob potlhqu'. tlhIngan qorDu' pong potlh[newline]
law' Hoch potlh puS.
With strong family traditions, devotion and loyalty to family is one of[newline]
the most important Klingon virtues. Above all, the Klingon family[newline]
name is highly valued.
I suspect that a verb has been dropped after {potlhqu'}, something
with {-lu'}. {pablu'} maybe, or {loblu'} or {vuvlu'}?
Has anyone ever asked MO about this error? I'll try to remember next
time I see him.
