Why isn't there an open source Klingon Dictionary project?
I am a Qt Programmer, it'd be easy to come up with a friendly GUI
interface, the dictionary core code though would take some time to develop
if you want to search Klingon words, english translations, approximations,
etc, a backend DB would have to be embedded and probably a db file of
Klingon words and translations maintained on the side.
Sounds like a lot of people maintain their own versions, why not maintain a
single dictionary. Based on popular agreement conflicting words could have
different tags like cannon, new english, etc...
Is it because there's no such existing project or because people like to
maintain their own separate versions and don't want to share/etc?
