No, they don't.
Consider the first few minutes of Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
{HaSta} is *visual* display, such as what you would get from an
optical camera. It constrasts with {wIy} *tactical* display, more of
an abstract schematic view with target blips and labels and such. Both
{HaSta} and {wIy} are things that can be shown on a {jIH} display
screen.
{HaSta jIH} is perfect for a television. {wIy jIH} would be more like
a radar screen or moving map.
