While I appreciate that joS is a to-each-other sort of activity, I
think that the nature of gossip is included in the verb, so there'd
have to be an extra to-each-other sense for me to want -chuq. They
aren't gossipping about each other, and in this case the aren't even
gossipping to each other, they're gossipping to an alien merchant, so
I think I'll keep it without the -chuq.

I never translated it, although maybe I should as I'm catching a few
things as I translate passages for an interested friend. I think the
puS choice reflects the fact that I learned Klingon well before 'op
existed, so it used to play that role. vIchoHta'.
